Shortcuts/Folders View

The InstallShield Shortcuts explorer offers an integrated, visual method for designing shortcuts and program folders. All shortcuts are associated with the selected component and then created on the target system if the component is selected for installation. The Shortcuts/Folders explorer offers an integrated, visual method for designing shortcuts and program folders.

Right-click on a destination such as Desktop or Programs Menu to design a new shortcut or folder. To install your shortcut to other common destination folders, right-click on the uppermost item in the Shortcuts explorer and select Show Folder from the context menu. Under the Show Folder submenu is a list of the additional folders supported in the Shortcuts view. Select the folder you would like your shortcut created in to have it displayed in the Shortcuts explorer.
